Assaulted Journalists: One Fatality
Tbilisi Pride attempted to organize a pride festival on July 5, 2021. Due to the individuals you are about to witness, nearly 50 journalists were physically assaulted, with one of them tragically succumbing to fatal brain injuries. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia manipulated every aspect of his case, portraying it as a death resulting from a narcotic overdose. We urge the European Union to impose sanctions on these individuals. We put our lives at risk confronting them, and now it is time for you to support us as well.
